INVOICING

The Buyer, as invoiced, is required to pay all amounts in full, within seven days. Wire Transfer details will be shown on the invoice. No shipment or delivery of the artwork(s) will proceed until AHL receives in good cleared funds, the full amount invoiced, and until all proper documentation is completed. No payments will be accepted from any third parties other than the Buyer mentioned on the invoice.

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE

The Selling Price shown on the website does not include packing, insurance, shipping or handling charges which will be borne by the Buyer. The Buyer is solely responsible for making prior enquiries about possible additional fees and expenses. The Buyer may request reframing, restoration or cleaning of works, or may leave specific packing or shipping instructions. Any additional fees and expenses in such cases shall be borne by the Buyer.

DUTIES & TAXES

All levies, duties and taxes applicable on the purchase of the artwork(s) shall be borne by the Buyer. Purchases that take place within Hong Kong are not subject to any sales tax. Depending on the shipping destination and according to local customs regulations, levies including sales tax and other relevant duties and VAT may be applicable on the Selling Price. The Buyer shall be responsible for any relevant documentation arising for the purchase of the artwork(s).

DELIVERY / COLLECTION OF PURCHASED ARTWORK

Any artwork(s) will be dispatched by AHL within seven days upon receipt of payment in full and good cleared funds and after any applicable charges for the specific artwork is cleared. In the event that the Buyer requests the artwork(s) to be reframed, or makes any other specific request, AHL shall advise the Buyer for the length of possible delay resulting from such request. The artwork(s) will be packed according to carrier standards for international destinations. The Buyer shall be liable for any insurance premiums, duties or taxes that might be levied by the authorities on the transaction as stated in the Terms and Conditions of AHL.

The Buyer may choose to collect their purchased artwork(s) directly from AHL’s office in Hong Kong. In such cases, the Buyer is requested to make an appointment to collect the artwork(s) within seven days upon receipt and clearance of all payments in full and good cleared funds and documentation formalities.

STORAGE AND DEMURRAGE

The Buyer shall ensure that all payment formalities are completed within seven days of the receipt of the invoice by email from AHL as set forth in the Terms and Conditions. In case payment is not received within such period, the inaction will be treated as a breach of contract and AHL may take any steps, including the institution of legal proceedings, which appear appropriate to AHL to enforce payment by the Buyer. The Buyer shall also be charged demurrage @1% per month on the value of the artwork(s).
