COMPLETING THE TRANSACTION

After the auction has ended and the bidding has closed for all the batches, the Winning Bidder will be informed by email from AHL about the Winning Bid. The Winning Bidder shall receive a subsequent email from info@attinghouse.com containing an invoice for the Winning Bid price including the Buyer’s Premium. The invoice will specify a choice of payment methods. At the close of auction the Winning Bidder is legally bound to purchase the Lot from AHL.

 

INVOICING

During Auction Registration, bidders are required to provide all invoicing details to AHL. No registered details can be changed after the close of auction and the bidder as registered with AHL will be invoiced via email. After the close of auction, the Winning Bidder, as invoiced, is required to pay the amounts in full, including the additional charges, within seven days. No shipment or delivery of the Lot will proceed until AHL receives in good cleared funds the full amount invoiced, and until all proper documentation is completed. No payments will be accepted from any third parties other than the Winning Bidder mentioned on the invoice.

 

PAYMENT

Buyers will be required to complete payment in full and good cleared funds within a period of seven days from the receipt of the invoice from AHL via email.

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE

The Lot Estimated Price does not include any packing, insurance, shipping or handling charges and will be borne by the Buyer. Shipping will be charged on courier rates. The bidder is solely responsible for making prior enquiries for any possible additional fees and expenses. The bidder may request reframing, restoration or cleaning of works, or may leave specific packing or shipping instructions. Any additional fees and expenses in such cases shall be borne by the buyer.

 

DUTIES & TAXES

All levies, duties and taxes applicable on the purchase of the Lot shall be borne by the Winning Bidder. Sales that take place within Hong Kong are not subject to any sales tax. Depending on the shipping destination and according to local customs regulations, other levies, sales tax, duties and VAT may be applicable on the Lot’s Winning Bid value. The Winning Bidder shall be responsible for any documentation arising from such delivery of the Lot.

 

DELIVERY / COLLECTION OF PURCHASED LOT

Any purchased Lot will be dispatched by AHL within seven days upon receipt of payment in full and good cleared funds and after any applicable charges for the specific Lot is cleared. In the event that the Winning Bidder requests the Lot to be reframed, or makes any other specific request, AHL shall advise the Winning Bidder for the length of possible delay resulting from such request. The Lot will be packed according to carrier standard for international destinations. The Winning Bidder shall be liable for any insurance premiums, duties or taxes that might be levied by the authorities on the transaction as stated in the Terms and Conditions of AHL.

The Winning Bidder may choose to collect their purchased Lot directly from AHL’s office in Hong Kong. In such cases, the Winning Bidder is requested to make an appointment to collect the Lot within seven days upon receipt and clearance of all payments in full and good cleared funds and documentation formalities.
